Insurance & Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. At this time, Have Your Say Speech Therapy only accepts the following payment methods:

Flexible Savings Account
Private pay options allow for flexibility and creative solutions when providing services. Insurance companies often dictate the number and duration of services and occasionally do not cover speech services at all. By accepting private pay options only, we do not require referrals or prior authorizations.
Have Your Say Speech Therapy is able to accept payment through HSA and FSA accounts. We are able to provide the necessary documentation needed for HSA and FSA coverage.
We are considered out of network with all insurance companies. We are currently not in network with any contracting insurance company. Have Your Say Speech Therapy can provide what is known as a SuperBill which would allow a client to seek reimbursement of services through insurance benefits. The client and/or family would be required to verify with their insurance company if this is an option.
We charge the following for sessions:
$65 for each 30 minute session
or
$120 for each 60 minute session
Frequently Asked Questions
-
As a parent or caregiver, you have a gut instinct, trust it! There are a number of reasons why your child may benefit from speech-language therapy. Schedule a free consultation call, and we can discuss your concerns and if your child would benefit from a speech-language evaluation.
-
Absolutely! It is never a bad idea to receive outside speech therapy services in conjunction with school speech therapy services. School speech therapy services often create speech therapy goals with academic support in mind. We would be able to gear our goals towards speech/language skills needed outside academics, provide parent training and education in the goals school is targeting to allow for easier carryover at home, and provide extra practice/support in areas the school is working on.
-
Is your child having difficulties with pre-reading skills such as rhyming, alliteration, blending sounds into words, and segmenting words into smaller units? Is your child having difficulties decoding words, identifying/naming consonant and vowel sounds, reading words/books, understanding what he/she is reading. Schedule a consult call, and let's make sure your child is on track for literacy development!
-
There are many signs that aid in determining if your child is a gestalt language processor or an analytic language processor. Schedule a free consultation call where we can work together to determine the type of language processor your child is and see if your child is receiving the right supports! Remember, different language processor means different strategies and different stages of language development. This is an important piece of information to know to best support the child's language development. If your child is already receiving speech therapy services and not making significant progress, it could be because your child is a different language processor.
-
Yes! If your child did not qualify for school based services, that means your child did not demonstrate a significant enough disability impacting their education. However, just because your child did not qualify does not mean your child does not have speech/language difficulties. Your child may still benefit from speech/language therapy support!

We heavily believe in training and collaborating with the child's team including other therapists, teachers, daycare providers, other family members, etc. Whoever may be present for the session will get an opportunity for one on one training, demonstration, practice of implementing strategies, and feedback. Handouts, resources, and education sessions can be provided to other important people that are a part of the child's team who cannot be present for the session.
